What causes snoring?
When you sleep your muscles relax and the soft palate vibrates as you breathe in and out. Snoring occurs when air can’t flow freely in and out of your throat. Alcohol, sedatives, and excessive weight tend to worsen the affects of snoring.

Loud snoring, waking up from sleep many times during the night, headache and tiredness in day time are typical symptoms of sleep apnea. It is important to note that snoring does not always mean sleep apnea. Snoring characterized by breathing pauses indicates sleep apnea. Since the characteristics of this sleeping disorder are unusual it is difficult to find out.
Sleep apnea dangers
